Photo Gallery: Captain Harding Leaf's first aid kit
Explore the first aid kit in depth and see what a captain in the New Zealand Army was issued in the Second World War.
Photography by Our Health Journeys Curator Caitlin Timmer-Arends, with permission from Captain Leaf's granddaughter Nina Seakens.
The first aid kit is on display in Te Rau Aroha Museum of the Price of Citizenship at Waitangi Treaty Grounds. The museum opened in 2020 and focuses on the third article of Te Tiriti o Waitangi | The Treaty of Waitangi through Māori commitment to serving in the armed forces.
