An Audio-Driving Tour of Medical History in Papakura

As part of the Auckland Heritage Festival 2024, take a driving audio tour of Papakura and surrounds to learn about the area's medical and Pasifika history using Google Maps and SoundCloud.

The sites on the map can be viewed in layers. You can remove the suggested driving route in blue by clicking on the sliding symbol in the top left corner and unticking the second box. We have called this a driving tour, however it is also suitable for cycling and walking - some may want to skip Site 2 if taking the tour by bike or by foot.

Click on the red heading of each site to access the audio clip, or click here to access the playlist for the entire audio tour.
